Who We Are
The Citadel Fellowship of Christian Athletes is more than just a campus ministry—we are a community that seeks to engage, equip, and empower our cadets, athletes, coaches, staff, volunteers, and alumni united by our shared faith and commitment to excellence. Founded on the principles that guide both The Citadel and FCA globally, we believe that true leadership begins with character, and character is best developed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Mission: To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

What We Do
Our ministry is designed to support students in their spiritual journey by providing opportunities for growth in their faith and relationship with Christ.
Weekly Huddles
Every Monday evening, cadets gather for fellowship and prayer. Our huddles create a supportive community where faith, athletics, and military life intersect.
Leadership Development
Through mentorship programs and weekly leadership meetings, we help cadets develop character-based leadership rooted in Christian principles.
Bible Study Groups
Small group Bible studies provide deeper spiritual growth opportunities and lasting friendships among cadets.
Special Events
Retreats, guest speakers, and fellowship events strengthen our community and provide spiritual refreshment throughout the academic year.
Our Leadership
Meet the dedicated individuals who guide and support The Citadel FCA community.
Christy has served on staff with Citadel FCA for three years. She is married to Aaron Meadows, who serves as Chaplain at The Citadel as well as in the Air Force Reserves. They have three children: Elisea, Julia, and James. Sports and ministry have always been a part of the Meadows’ family. Christy’s love for sports ministry began in college with her double major in Sports Management and Christian Education, as well as playing basketball and being on her collegiate FCA leadership team. Stepping into this role has been a full-circle God-moment for Christy, and what she loves most is connecting relationally with the cadet athletes and sharing the love of Christ with them and on the Citadel campus.
Isaiah Bailey
FCA Area Representative
Isaiah has served on staff with Citadel FCA for two years. He is married to McKenna Bailey, and together they share a heart for ministry and the Citadel community. Isaiah has been involved with FCA at The Citadel since his sophomore year, where his faith, leadership, and passion for serving others continued to grow. He joined FCA staff immediately after graduating, stepping into ministry with the same campus that helped shape him.
During his time at The Citadel, Isaiah studied Business Management and competed as a member of the track team. He graduated from Bravo Company in 2024, and being able to serve and walk alongside the same cadets he went to school with is deeply meaningful to him. Isaiah is passionate about building authentic relationships with cadet athletes and helping them understand what it means to live boldly for Christ on and off the field.
